Shopping at Tiffany's for an item under $10.00! Quite the challenge even in 1961.
You can see Tiffany Blue in the background.
The table was set elegantly, with silver-rimmed white china, sparkling crystal, and of course, a Tiffany Blue tablecloth.
Holly walks home in the morning after a night on the town - quite fashionably I might add! Her coffee inspired our specialty cocktail and the pastry our dessert.
In keeping with a breakfast theme we decided that Cappucino martinis would be exactly right. Shake them up well to get them good and frothy, sprinkle them with just a touch of cinnamon, and serve them ice cold. Delicious!

Holly is the perfect host! She remains perfectly calm under pressure (cooker)!
The saffron creates a beautiful golden rice. This dish is wonderful to serve at a dinner party. It's unusual and really tasty. Serve it with a side salad of lettuce and chunky (Sally) tomatoes just like Holly did.
We were enjoying our chocolate croissant bread pudding while discussing this amazing film. And yes, it tasted even better wearing a tiara!
I thought about a breakfast-inspired dessert - and croissant came to mind. This dessert is light and delicious.. and easy to make. Top it with lightly whipped vanilla whipped cream and you've got a memorable dessert!
