Several years ago, I had the idea to combine two of my greatest passions: fantastic films and unforgettable dinner parties. I absolutely love entertaining - everything about it - from planning the menu and cooking the meal to mixing cocktails, styling the table, and gathering friends and family around it. Add a great movie to the mix, and you've got the perfect recipe for an unforgettable evening.

Whether it's a suspenseful thriller, a classic sci-fi adventure, a heartfelt drama, or a dazzling musical, every film has a story worth celebrating - and every story deserves its own dinner party.

It all began with a dinner party inspired by Bunny Lake Is Missing - the stylish 1960s British mystery thriller starring Sir Laurence Olivier and Keir Dullea. I enlisted my friend and now co-host, Sachi Parker, and together we set out to bring the film to life through food, décor, cocktails, and a little movie magic.

We had a blast exploring the era, serving classic British dishes like creamed leeks and Eton Mess, mixing cocktails popular at the time, and creating a black-and-white tablescape inspired by Otto Preminger's striking cinematography. By the end of the evening, we were already dreaming up the next dinner party - and Lights! Camera! Dinner Party! was born.
